We’re working with a forward-thinking, carbon-neutral organisation that delivers innovative waste management and sustainability solutions to businesses across the UK. Due to continued growth, they’re looking to expand their presence in Cardiff with the addition of a motivated Business Development Manager.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a background in B2B sales or field-based business development who wants to build a strong pipeline, maximise earnings, and be part of a business committed to a greener future.
The Role:
As a Business Development Manager, you’ll take ownership of generating new business across Cardiff and the surrounding areas. You’ll be responsible for identifying opportunities, building relationships, and delivering tailored solutions to commercial clients.
Key Responsibilities:

Identify and win new business within the commercial waste and recycling sector

Build and maintain strong client relationships to drive long-term value
*
Develop a healthy pipeline through proactive prospecting, networking, and referrals
*
Deliver tailored proposals and close deals effectively
*
Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and service delivery
*
Represent the business at industry events and networking opportunities
*
Consistently achieve and exceed sales targets
About You:
*
Proven experience in B2B sales, field sales, or business development
*
Experience in waste management, facilities management, or a related sector is advantageous, but not essential
*
Strong communication and negotiation skills with a consultative sales approach
*
Self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable working independently
*
Full UK driving licence
