How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Your new company
    You'll be joining a leading financial services organisation known for delivering high‑quality service to clients, advisers, and business partners. With a strong reputation for professionalism and excellence.
    Your new role
    As the Receptionist, you will be a key point of contact for clients, financial advisers, colleagues, and visitors-both in person and over the telephone.Your main responsibility will be operating the central switchboard, promptly triaging and directing calls to the appropriate departments while maintaining a high standard of customer service. You will also manage in‑person visitor services, ensuring a warm, professional welcome and a well‑maintained reception area. In addition, you will provide general administrative support across the business.
    What you'll need to succeed

    At least 1 year's experience in a switchboard or customer service role.
    GCSEs (A-C) in English and Maths, or equivalent.
    Competence in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel).
    Ability to manage high call volumes with professionalism and calm.
    A reliable, punctual, and well‑presented approach.Desirable:

    Experience using switchboard/telephony systems.
    Experience within financial services or other corporate environments.Attributes:

    A positive, "can‑do" attitude.
    Friendly, approachable interpersonal style.
    Strong teamwork and communication skills.
    Ability to multitask, prioritise, and stay organised.
