HGV Class 1 (C+E) Driver

We are looking for reliable HGV Class 1 Drivers to join our team to support our clients with various shift times across the days and nights. As the face of our logistics team, you will ensure the smooth movement of goods during operational hours. This role is perfect for drivers who enjoy varied roles in logistics.

Typical Duties

* Safe Operation: Navigating Class 1 vehicles professionally and safely across the UK road network.

* General Logistics: Moving diverse cargo—including containers, box trailers, curtain siders, or temperature-controlled units—between depots and customer sites.

* Vehicle Integrity: Conducting thorough pre- and post-shift vehicle safety inspections.

* Compliance: Strict adherence to EU Drivers’ Hours and meticulous management of digital tachograph records.

* Customer Service: Acting as a professional ambassador for the company at delivery points and hubs.

What We Are Looking For

* Experience: A minimum of 6 months of proven experience driving Class 1 vehicles.

* Licence: A valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) UK licence.

* Qualifications: Up-to-date CPC card and Digital Tachograph card.

* Driving Record: A clean professional history (maximum 6 points; no major endorsements).

* Communication: Strong communication skills for coordinating with the transport office and customers.
