Hours: Monday to Thursday 19:00 - 03:30 & Friday 16:00 - 00:30
Pay: £13.50 per hour
About the Role
We are currently recruiting for a Picker / Packer to join a busy and well-established manufacturing company in Bury St Edmunds. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is reliable, detail-focused, and enjoys working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
This role is based within a factory setting. Some areas, including cold storage, may operate at low temperatures, and appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) must be worn at all times.
Key Responsibilities
Accurately pick and pack orders to meet production and dispatch deadlines
Use scanning systems to track, record, and organise stock
Carry out quality checks to ensure accuracy and high standards are maintained
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment
Work collaboratively with team members to achieve daily targets
Follow all site procedures, including health & safety and hygiene standards
Operate within cold store areas as required
Requirements
Previous experience in a warehouse, picking, or packing role
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Good organisational and time management skills
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Comfortable working in a factory environment, including cold conditions
Willingness to wear required PPE at all times
Reliable with a strong work ethic
Heavy lifting up to 25kg
