How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

We're hiring an SDR for Investor Signals.

Investor Signals is a curated investor introduction platform. We work with venture-backed founders who are actively raising and connect them to relevant angels, VCs, and family offices in our network. Startups pay per confirmed investor meeting. We handle sourcing, vetting, positioning, and warm email introductions. We are not a broker-dealer and do not take success fees or transaction-based compensation. The focus is high-quality, pre-qualified conversations with investors who are actively deploying capital.

We're looking for someone who understands fundraising at a practical level. Ideally you've either raised yourself, worked in venture, investment banking, private equity, or sold into founders raising capital. This role requires the ability to speak credibly about investor psychology, fundraising timelines, objections around success fees, and how to position our model clearly without overpromising. Strong judgment and comfort operating in a high-trust, compliance-aware environment are a must.

    The Role

This position starts as an SDR, qualifying leads, running discovery calls, and setting meetings. It is designed to progress into a full Sales Director role for the right person.

We're not looking for someone to stay an SDR indefinitely. We're looking for someone who can demonstrate they understand the environment, earn the trust of the team, and take on full ownership of deals over time. Promotion to Closer/Sales Director is at our discretion based on demonstrated performance, not a guaranteed timeline.

You'll be speaking directly with founders in the middle of active fundraises, people under pressure with a sharp radar for anyone who doesn't know what they're talking about. You need to be able to hold that conversation credibly from day one.

    As SDR/Setter, you will:

    • Pre-qualify inbound leads before any call is booked, assessing stage, raise size, sector fit, and urgency
    • Run discovery calls with founders to understand their raise, target investors, and timeline
    • Clearly explain the Investor Signals model, pricing, and how we differ from brokers and placement agents
    • Handle objections around cost, compliance, and fit with accuracy and composure
    • Book qualified meetings and hand off cleanly with detailed notes
    • Maintain disciplined CRM hygiene and consistent follow-up

As Sales Director (upon promotion), you will:

Own deals end-to-end, from first contact through signed contract and payment

Negotiate terms, close independently, and drive expansion revenue within 90 days of initial close

Contribute to playbooks, objection libraries, and onboarding materials

    What We're Looking For

Ideal backgrounds: founders who have raised capital, professionals from venture, investment banking, or private equity, or salespeople who have sold into companies actively fundraising.

    You should bring:

    • A working understanding of fundraising, from pre-seed through Series B dynamics, investor archetypes, deal timelines, and common founder objections
    • The ability to explain our model without overpromising, particularly around what we do and don't do relative to broker-dealers
    • Maturity and composure under pressure
    • Strong verbal and written communication, as you're representing a high-trust brand
    • Genuine self-direction, as this is a lean team and you won't be closely managed
    • Comfort in a compliance-aware environment

    This role is not:

    • A traditional SaaS sales role with a defined playbook and onboarding programme
    • A high-volume SDR position with no growth path
    • A fit for someone who needs significant management or a long ramp
    • A role where approximate knowledge of fundraising is sufficient

    Working Hours:

    8am - 5pm EST

    Compensation

    SDR/Setter

    Base: $1,500/month

Commission: 5% of gross revenue on deals you set that close

Full-cycle (if you take a deal intro through close yourself): 12.5%

    Sales Director (if promoted)

    Base: $2,500/month

Commission: 7.5% on deals you close

    Full-cycle (intro through close): 12.5%

Renewal/expansion: 5% on additional packages within 90 days, if you drove the renewal

    Looking forward to connecting.
