Key Responsibilities
HR Administration & Employee Lifecycle
- Support onboarding and offboarding processes (contracts, offer letters, exit documentation)
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR systems
- Assist with probation tracking, contract changes, and employee updates
- Manage HR inbox and respond to employee queries
Recruitment & Talent Support
- Coordinate interviews and candidate communications
- Support job postings and CV screening
- Prepare interview materials and track recruitment progress
- Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout
Payroll & Benefits
- Support monthly payroll preparation and data validation
- Assist with benefits administration (pension, insurance, etc.)
- Track absence, annual leave, and HR metrics
HR Operations & Compliance
- Ensure HR processes align with UK employment law and internal policies
- Support audits, reporting, and HR documentation
- Maintain strict confidentiality and GDPR compliance
Employee Engagement & Office Support
- Assist with internal events and engagement initiatives
- Support employee communications and surveys
- Provide general administrative support
Learning & Development
- Coordinate training programmes and onboarding plans
- Maintain training records and monitor completion
- Support performance and development processes
Requirement:
- Degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Able to handle confidential information with discretion
Desirable:
- Previous HR internship or admin experience
- Basic knowledge of UK employment law
- Familiarity with HR systems (e.g. Moorepay, SuccessFactors)
- Interest in or working towards CIPD qualification
