How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Role: Office Assistant

     

    Location: 18 King William Street, London, EC4N 7BP

     

    Reporting to: Practice Manager

     

    Working Hours: 9.30am – 5.30pm Monday to Friday (with flexibility around these times to meet deadlines and requirements of the role). This is an office-based role.

       

    The Role:

     

    This is an exciting opportunity to join our fast-paced firm as an Office Assistant to provide efficient administrative and operational support to ensure the smooth day‑to‑day running of the office, while also supporting internal projects such as process improvements and business initiative

     

    Key Responsibilities:

    ·        Provide general administrative support, including post, scanning and filing.

    ·        Reception duties including meeting and greeting clients.

    ·        Courier duties including delivering sensitive documents to clients and between offices.

    ·        Support the wider team with ad-hoc tasks as required.

    ·        Monitor and order office supplies and ensure the office is kept tidy and organised.

    ·        Support the delivery of internal projects.

     

    Skills & Experience:

     

    Essential

    ·        Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise.

    ·        Competent IT skills including Microsoft Office and Excel.

    ·        Strong verbal and written communications skill.

    ·        The right to work in the UK.

     

    Desirable

    ·        Experience working in a small office or team.

    ·        Experience working with databases.

    ·        Detail-oriented with a well-organised approach to work.

    ·        Flexible and adaptable, with a positive “can-do” attitude.

    ·        Ability to work as a part of a team or independently in a proactive and responsible manner.
