The role
We’re looking for a Junior Graphic Designer to join our team and support the creation of engaging visual content across both digital and print platforms. This is a great opportunity for someone at the start of their career who’s keen to grow their skills and gain hands-on experience within a supportive and fast-paced agency environment.
What you'll be doing
- Supporting the design of marketing materials for clients and our own requirements, including brochures, websites, branding, social media graphics, packaging and lots more.
- Taking projects from brief through to final artwork.
- Collaborating with the team to develop creative concepts.
- Ensuring all work aligns with brand guidelines and client expectations.
- Preparing artwork for print and digital use.
- Manage multiple projects and work to tight deadlines.
What we're looking for
- Around 12 months’ experience in a graphic design role.
- Strong skills in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator.
- Good understanding of both print and digital design.
- Experience with Branding and Typography.
- Graphic Design Degree (or equivalent).
- GCSE English.
- Strong communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisation skills.
- A proactive mindset and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a small team (which includes Poppy, our office dog).
- Awareness of current design trends.
- Understanding of print processes.
Bonus skills
- WordPress and WooCommerce knowledge and experience
- Understanding of HTML / PHP / CSS & JavaScript
