How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

Stanton House has partnered with a leading mid-market private equity firm to appoint an experienced M&A Integration Specialist to work across its portfolio of investments.

This role offers a unique opportunity to operate at the centre of a dynamic buy-and-build strategy, supporting portfolio companies through the full lifecycle of post-acquisition integration. You will play a critical role in ensuring acquisitions deliver their intended value, working closely with deal teams, portfolio leadership, and functional stakeholders to execute integration plans effectively.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead and support post-merger integration activities across multiple portfolio companies
    • Develop and implement structured integration plans aligned to the investment thesis
    • Coordinate cross-functional workstreams (e.g. Finance, operations, technology, HR) to ensure timely delivery of synergies
    • Identify and mitigate integration risks, resolving issues proactively
    • Establish governance frameworks, reporting structures, and KPI tracking to monitor integration progress
    • Engage with senior stakeholders, including C-suite executives and investment professionals, to drive alignment and accountability
    • Contribute to pre-deal planning, including integration strategy and synergy assessment where required

    Candidate Profile:

    • Proven experience delivering complex post-merger integrations, ideally within a private equity or fast-paced corporate environment
    • Strong understanding of buy-and-build strategies and value creation levers
    • Background in private equity-backed businesses is highly desirable
    • Experience from a leading consultancy (e.g. Big 4 or strategy house) is advantageous
    • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at senior levels
    • Highly organised, analytical, and execution-focused, with a hands-on approach

    Additional Information:

    • Exposure to a diverse portfolio of businesses across multiple sectors
    • High-impact role with direct visibility to investment teams and portfolio leadership
    • Opportunity to shape integration best practices within a growing private equity platform

For further information, please apply with your CV, along with your day rate / salary expectations.
