We are recruiting on behalf of a world-renowned luxury travel brand for a truly unique and exceptional opportunity as a Head of Housekeeping onboard one of the most prestigious luxury train experiences in the world.
This is not your typical housekeeping role — you will be delivering world-class standards in a dynamic, ever-changing environment, ensuring every guest experiences the highest level of comfort, service, and attention to detail throughout their journey.
The Role
As Head of Housekeeping, you will lead from the front — combining hands-on operational excellence with strong leadership. You will be responsible for maintaining impeccable standards across guest cabins and all communal areas, while managing and inspiring your team to deliver an unforgettable guest experience.
This is a customer-facing role, requiring professionalism, composure, and a genuine passion for luxury hospitality.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate, and develop the housekeeping team onboard
- Maintain exceptional standards across guest rooms and communal areas
- Take a hands-on approach to daily operations
- Manage rotas, staffing, and payroll responsibilities
- Ensure seamless delivery of a world-class guest experience
- Respond to guest needs with efficiency, discretion, and professionalism
- Continuously look for ways to enhance service and operational excellence
About You
- Proven experience in a luxury housekeeping environment at Supervisor or Manager level
- A natural leader with a hands-on, proactive approach
- Calm, level-headed, and solutions-focused under pressure
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Confident in a guest-facing role, delivering exceptional service
- Passionate about hospitality and creating memorable experiences
The Package
- £42,000 salary

Working Pattern
- Rota-based role
