Overview
We are seeking an experienced Employee Relations (ER) Advisor to provide immediate, short-term support for a busy lifestyle retail business. This is a hands-on role focused on managing a high-volume ER caseload, offering pragmatic advice, and ensuring best practice across a fast-paced retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a varied ER caseload including disciplinaries, grievances, absence management, and performance issues
- Provide clear, commercially focused ER advice to line managers and stakeholders
- Support investigations, hearings, and appeals end-to-end
- Ensure all ER processes are compliant with employment law and internal policies
- Maintain accurate documentation and case tracking
- Work collaboratively with HR and wider business teams to resolve issues efficiently
About You
- Proven experience handling ER casework in a retail or similarly fast-paced environment
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law and ER best practice
- Confident advising managers and influencing decision-making
- Able to manage multiple cases with urgency and attention to detail
- Available to start immediately
