How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    We’re Hiring: Quality Coordinator

We’re looking for a detail-driven and proactive Quality Coordinator to join our team, supporting engineering and manufacturing projects in a fast-paced, live production environment.

    Location: Southampton

    Reporting to: General Manager

    About the Role

As a Quality Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in ensuring quality standards are met across all stages of our engineering projects. You’ll act as the link between engineering, production, and customers—helping to maintain compliance, accuracy, and high-quality delivery.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Create and manage project-specific Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs)

    • Work closely with engineering and production teams to ensure quality requirements are understood and followed

    • Compile and maintain Lifetime Quality Records (LTQRs) throughout project lifecycles

    • Support hands-on quality assurance activities (inspections, checks, verification, sampling)

    • Review supplier documentation for accuracy and compliance

    • Assist in managing tools and measuring equipment used in manufacturing

    • Support investigations into non-conformances and contribute to reporting

    • Assist with internal and supplier audits

    • Contribute to continuous improvement of quality processes and documentation

    • Support tendering and quoting processes with documentation preparation

    • Assist with ISO 9001 and customer audit activities

    What We’re Looking For

✔ Experience in quality assurance, ideally within engineering or metalwork

✔ Strong organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail

✔ Experience writing Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs)

✔ Familiarity with Lifetime Quality Records (LTQRs)

✔ Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

✔ Strong communication skills with the ability to engage professionally with internal teams and external stakeholders

    Safety & Compliance

Safety is a top priority. You’ll be expected to follow all health, safety, and environmental regulations, report incidents promptly, and adhere to company policies and management systems at all times.

If you’re passionate about quality, thrive in a collaborative environment, and want to make a real impact in engineering projects, we’d love to hear from you.
