We’re hiring a long-form editor to support YouTube content production.
About the company
A content-led business built around YouTube as its core platform. The company produces regular long-form video content, with a focus on storytelling, clarity and audience retention.
The role
You’ll be responsible for editing long-form YouTube videos, turning raw footage into structured, engaging content that holds attention.
You’ll work closely with scriptwriters and creators to bring ideas to life through editing.
Key responsibilities
- Edit long-form YouTube videos
- Structure footage into clear narratives based on script or brief
- Cut unnecessary content to improve pacing and engagement
- Add music, transitions, zooms and visual elements where appropriate
- Deliver edits to deadlines, including revisions and final exports
- Manage project files and assets efficiently
- Work across multiple edits simultaneously depending on workload
What success looks like
- Consistent delivery of edits on time
- Strong pacing and structure across videos
- Improved audience retention through tighter edits
What we’re looking for
- Experience editing long-form YouTube content
- Strong understanding of pacing and storytelling
- Proficiency in editing software (Premiere, Final Cut, etc.)
- Ability to take direction and iterate quickly
