How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

YouTube Content Script Writer (Business/Entrepreneur content)

    Remote | Full-time | £40,000–£50,000

Must be able to travel to South West England twice a week

We’re hiring a YouTube Content Script Writer to join a fast-growing, founder-led media business building content around entrepreneurship, business and personal growth.

This is a role for someone who understands that on YouTube, structure beats writing ability.

    The role

You’ll be responsible for turning raw ideas, lived experiences and business insights into structured, high-retention YouTube videos.

You’ll work closely with the founder and wider content team to shape narratives that keep viewers engaged from the first second through to the final payoff.

This role sits at the centre of the content process bridging ideation, production and performance.

    Key responsibilities

    • Take rough ideas, notes and conversations and turn them into clear video concepts and structured outlines
    • Write full-length scripts with strong hooks, clear pacing and defined narrative arcs
    • Build in storytelling techniques such as open loops, pattern interrupts and re-engagement beats
    • Work closely with editors to ensure scripts translate effectively into final video output
    • Review retention data and apply insights to future scripts
    • Adapt scripts post-edit based on performance and audience behaviour
    • Contribute to content ideation and development of repeatable formats

    What success looks like

    • Scripts that translate into videos with strong audience retention
    • Clear, repeatable structure across content
    • Efficient turnaround from idea, script to production

    What we’re looking for

    • Strong storytelling ability (essential)
    • Experience writing for YouTube or video-first platforms
    • Understanding of retention, pacing and viewer psychology
    • Ability to think visually and structurally
    • Interest in entrepreneurship and business content
