We are proud to be partnering with a leading multi-disciplinary construction consultancy who offer a comprehensive range of services to the housing sector. They are looking to appoint Stock Condition Surveyors on a 6 – 12 month temporary contract.
This will be a full-time position with opportunities from Peterborough down to the South Coast with the rates being:
- £8 per room (this refers to a tiny flat within a HMO, usually with nothing but a bed and a window)
- £16 per flat
- £17 per external block
- £22 per block with communal area
- £22 per house
The ideal candidate will have experience conducting stock condition surveys on social housing units and have a full UK driving license.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Carrying out stock condition surveys on Social Housing units
- Establishing condition, age, repairs and remaining life of building components & also energy characteristics and legislative compliance
- Liaising with and engaging with residents in regards to work carried out
- Ensuring the required surveys per day based on relevant targets
Experience required:
- Experience conducting stock condition surveys
- Experience within a social housing environment
- Knowledge of RdSAP & HHSRS
