A leading FMCG Manufacturer is currently recruiting for a Technical Coordinator / Quality & Hygiene Technologist to join a forward thinking and growing business. Reporting to the Quality Manager, this Technical Coordinator / Quality & Hygiene Technologist will be a hands-on role to support and deputise for the Quality Manager in maintaining food safety, hygiene, and quality standards across site operations.
Technical Coordinator / Quality & Hygiene Technologist responsibilities:
- Daily checks across site to monitor food safety, hygiene, and compliance.
- Collect and review production, quality, and hygiene records.
- Check staff compliance with food safety practices, hygiene rules, PPE, and site procedures.
- Assist with taking product and environmental samples and manage the sampling schedule.
- Assist with audits, inspections, and customer complaints.
- Support traceability exercises and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Promote continuous improvement in technical and quality processes.
This Technical Coordinator / Quality & Hygiene Technologist will ideally be someone with experience in a technical or quality role within food manufacturing and a knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and food safety standards.
This role will require a strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Experience in HACCP, GMP, BRCGS, Food Safety, QA Technician, Compliance, Audits will all be deemed advantageous.
