We’re working with a well-established civil engineering and construction contractor in Chelmsford who are looking to appoint a Graduate Site Engineer. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated graduate who wants to learn on live projects and build a long-term career in site engineering.
You’ll be supporting experienced engineers across active construction sites, gaining exposure to setting out, site coordination, quality control, and technical reporting. You’ll also have the opportunity to learn about geological ground investigation works, helping you build a broader understanding of site conditions and how they impact construction delivery.
No prior site experience is required—just enthusiasm, a willingness to learn, and a genuine interest in how projects are built from the ground up.
🎯 What we’re looking for
Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or similar
No site experience required – full training provided
Interest in both site engineering and ground investigation/geology
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Basic understanding of engineering principles from university
Full UK driving licence (or working towards it)
