Mile End, East London Pay: From £190 per day Contract: Long‑term, full‑time
A welcoming three‑form‑entry primary school in Mile End is looking for an experienced SEN Teacher to join their well‑established small‑group provision. The school has a strong community feel, excellent behaviour systems and a leadership team who genuinely prioritise staff wellbeing, training and consistent SEND practice.
You’ll work within a highly collaborative SEN team alongside the SENCO and skilled TAs, supporting pupils with ASD, SEMH, ADHD and MLD through personalised learning, emotional regulation and structured routines.
The Role
* Teaching a small class of fewer than 6 pupils
* Delivering adapted lessons, targeted interventions and personalised learning plans
* Supporting pupils who may reintegrate into mainstream when appropriate
* Working closely with the SENCO, therapists and TAs to ensure consistent provision
* Creating a calm, structured and nurturing learning environment
* Keeping clear records, progress notes and safeguarding documentation
Requirements
* QTS
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
* Proven SEN teaching experience (ASD/SEMH/ADHD/MLD)
* Confident with small‑group teaching and personalised learning
* Available to start ASAP
