About the role
We’re seeking a reliable, organised Transport Operations Assistant to join our busy transport office. You’ll support service delivery by coordinating daily schedules, processing bookings, and liaising with drivers and stakeholders to ensure safe, timely transport. This role suits someone needing flexibility for a child’s school run.
Key Responsibilities
- Support daily transport operations and service delivery in a fast‑paced office
- Monitor and update schedules, routes and duty sheets
- Process bookings, input and maintain accurate records in transport systems
- Communicate with drivers, parents/carers and stakeholders via phone and email
- Prioritise tasks and respond calmly under pressure to operational issues
Who we’re looking for
- Excellent computer skills (MS Office, data entry, scheduling/transport systems)
- Strong attention to detail and record‑keeping
- Able to work accurately under pressure and manage competing priorities
- Good communicator, professional and customer‑focused
- Experience working in transport sector, understanding time sensitive pressures of the industry

Hours: Part‑time 9.30am to 2.30pm / 10.00am – 2.00pm
