Equifind is partnering with a boutique European real estate fund manager in the City to recruit a fund accountant for the next six months.
This is a great opportunity for a qualified fund accountant who has a strong background in fund reporting and has an analytical mind, who is keen to broaden their remit into more commercial aspects of finance and asset management.
This role will ideally start within the next few weeks, so you must be on a short notice period.
Key Responsibilities for this position
- Review of monthly and quarterly accounts at Fund, Holdco and SPV levels
- Assist with the management of the outsourced providers
- Cash flow analysis: working with Investment Managers on monitoring project spend
- Support the senior team in the development of a new FP&A capability for the platform, creating tools, models, and processes from the ground up
- Prepare regular fund performance reporting to monitor cash deployed, project cost trackers, investor returns
- Support senior leadership with commercial insights, board materials, and investor presentations.
- Produce budgeting, forecasting, and scenario analysis for both fund‑level and corporate‑level planning
- Support with ad hoc projects as and when requested
Application Requirements
- Qualified Accountant (ACA/CA/ACCA/CIMA) with a minimum of 2-5 years PQE
- Ideally 2–5 years’ post-qualification experience within a similar real estate investment platform
- Strong understanding of fund structures is desirable
- Strong analysis/modelling skills
- Experience in fund reporting and managing third-party service providers
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, dynamic and international environment

Reporting directly into senior management you will be instrumental in the finance team, assisting them with fund reporting in addition to putting a strong analysis platform in place.
What’s on Offer
We are looking at candidates on either a day rate of £400-£450 per day or £70k-£80k FTC pro rata.
As mentioned, we need to move quickly on this one so short notice periods only and this role will be based in the office four days per week with WFH on Fridays.
