How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

Equifind are excited to be partnering with a dynamic creative professional services firm in London, who are looking for a Management Accountant.

This is a pivotal role for someone who enjoys ownership, visibility and the opportunity to influence how modern finance function operates. Working closely with the Head of Finance and senior stakeholders across the business, you'll act as the key pillar of the finance function and ensuring accuracy, drive process improvement and supporting better commercial decision-making as the company continues to grow.

As Management Accountant, you’ll take responsibility for reviewing and overseeing the daily finance operations, maintaining high standards across reporting and controls, and ensuring the wider business has clear, reliable financial insight. You’ll also have exposure to technology‑driven initiatives, including AI‑enabled projects, and will partner closely with senior stakeholders across the organisation.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Ownership of the month‑end close process, including journals, accruals, deferrals and balance sheet reconciliations
    • Review and oversight of an outsourced finance team, ensuring quality, accuracy and timeliness
    • Production and review of the P&L and balance sheet, ensuring they are robust and review‑ready
    • Proactively identifying issues, resolving them independently and escalating appropriately where needed
    • Oversight of accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accurate billing and timely payments
    • Maintenance of clean ledgers and prompt resolution of queries
    • Contribution to process improvement, reporting enhancements and AI‑enabled finance initiatives

    About You:

    • Qualified or part‑qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
    • Strong grounding in management accounts, balance sheet control and month‑end processes
    • Proven experience owning reconciliations, journals and P&L review
    • Confident communicator, comfortable working with non‑finance stakeholders
    • Naturally proactive, process‑focused and improvement‑driven
    • Experience within a creative, media or professional services environment is beneficial but not essential

    What’s on Offer:

    • 4 days in office, based in Central London
    • Annual leave allowance plus additional time to work remotely from anywhere in the world
    • Private Health insurance
    • Breakfast provided daily
    • A highly collaborative culture with genuine scope for development and progression
