How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Freelance Brand Strategist (Mid-weight/ Senior)

London (Hybrid 3:2)) | Up to £450/day | May start (TBC)

They’re a creative agency built for a modern era of marketing.

Founded on the belief that brands can shape culture, they exist to tell stories that move people.

Now they’re looking for a Brand Strategist to play an integral role in shaping and delivering best-in-class brand strategy for an exciting health-tech brand.

This is a role for someone who can bridge thinking and making — translating insight into clear, actionable direction that informs both brand and design.

    What they need

Someone who can sit at the centre of strategy, creative and design — and bring clarity.

You’ll take existing research and insight, challenge it where needed, and shape it into clear strategic direction that informs brand, tone of voice and visual identity.

    What you’ll be doing

    • Turning insight into sharp strategic hypotheses, provocations and frameworks
    • Building out brand platforms (essence, purpose, manifesto) that actually mean something
    • Shaping thinking that works globally, but flexes locally
    • Partnering closely with Creative Directors and Designers to ensure strategy translates into compelling work
    • Supporting the development of brand guidelines and ensuring consistency across touchpoints

    What they’re looking for

    • Proven experience developing brand strategy in a creative agency (or similar environment)
    • Someone who understands how strategy fuels creative, not sits separately from it
    • Clear, confident communicator — able to influence both internally and with clients
    • A strategic mindset with a genuine appreciation for craft, design and detail
    • Healthcare or complex sector experience is helpful, but not essential

This will suit someone who enjoys bringing structure to ambiguity — and who cares as much about how things are expressed as what’s being said.

If that sounds like your kind of role, apply or get in touch.
