How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Junior Photographer

    Capture Factory Photography:


    Brighton, UK

    Capture Factory is a fast-paced commercial photography studio specialising in high-quality e-commerce and brand content. We work with a wide range of clients, producing clean, consistent, and visually engaging. We are looking for a Junior Photographer to join our team and play a key role in delivering exceptional content.


    The Role

    This is a hands-on, studio-based position ideal for someone at the early stages of their career who is looking to develop within a professional production environment. You will support daily studio operations, assist on shoots, and gradually take ownership of your own photography sets. A fashion background is beneficial with knowledge of garments, fabrics and garment handling. Photography knowledge beneficial but can be taught. Candidate's who are interested in fashion, enjoy physical work and working as a team essential.


    Key Responsibilities

    • Photograph daily - Invisible mannequin, Flat lays and other E-Commerce shoots.
    • Capture high-quality product and fashion imagery in line with client briefs
    • Prepare and set up lighting, backgrounds, and equipment
    • Ensure consistency and accuracy across high-volume shooting workflows
    • Support basic retouching and file management processes
    • Maintain studio organisation, cleanliness, and equipment care
    • Work collaboratively with stylists, retouchers, and production team members
    • Help ensure projects are delivered on time and to specification
    • Handling clothing with care, steaming, packing, an understanding of garments.


    Requirements

    • A proactive attitude with willingness to learn and develop
    • A strong interest in photography, particularly e-commerce or fashion
    • Basic understanding of studio lighting and camera operation beneficial but not necessary
    • Great attention to detail and ability to follow brand guidelines
    • Strong organisational skills and ability to work efficiently under pressure
    • Previous studio experience is beneficial but not essential


    Working Hours

    • Monday to Thursday: 8:40am – 5:15pm
    • Friday: 8:40am – 2:00pm


    Salary

    • £26,227.50 per annum
