ASA Recruitment’s client, a Public Sector organisation in Edinburgh is currently looking to recruit a Strategic HR Advisor, for an initial 6 month contract (with potential extensions) on a rate of c.£650-£750/day inside of IR35 (based on experience).
Responsibilities:
- To provide senior-level strategic HR advisory and programme leadership to design and deliver a coordinated people transformation and change agenda.
- Act as programme lead across key strategic People & Culture projects.
- Support leaders through complex change, ensuring clarity, engagement, and minimal disruption
- Develop and embed change frameworks, tools, and governance
- Establish delivery plans, milestones, and dependencies, and risk and issues management frameworks
- Provide clear, concise reporting to Executive and Board level
- Ensure integration across HR and wider business initiatives
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in strategic HR Change & Transformation within complex organisations
- Demonstrable track record and expertise in organisational design and change management
- Ability to assess current ways of working and identify opportunities to improve operating model effectiveness, structure and organisational performance
- Demonstrable programme management capability (multi-workstream delivery)
- Ability to operate effectively at Executive / Board level and produce high quality outputs for senior audiences
- Experience in public sector or regulated environments, with an understanding of the Equality Act 2010 and Public Sector Equality Duty (PSED)
