How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    We are the embedded hiring partner to a well-established, family-run business with a strong local reputation and a genuine people-first culture.

    The Role

    You will be responsible for developing new business opportunities while building and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients.


    This is a field-based role with a balanced mix of client visits, on-site collaboration, and flexible working.


    Your responsibilities will include:

    • Building and developing B2B relationships across your territory
    • Identifying and converting new business opportunities
    • Managing client accounts with a proactive and hands-on approach
    • Meeting clients face-to-face to understand their needs
    • Planning your schedule, appointments, and follow-ups
    • Working closely with the internal team to ensure a high level of service


    You will spend 2–3 days per week on the road meeting clients, with the remaining time split between office-based work and flexible home working.


    About You

    You will have experience within a B2B sales environment and be confident in building relationships over time rather than relying on a hard-sell approach.


    You will demonstrate:

    • Experience in B2B sales, account management, or business development
    • A natural ability to build trust and rapport with clients
    • Quiet confidence, credibility, and professionalism
    • Strong organisational and planning skills
    • A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel
