Job Title: Electrical Estimator – Solar & BESS

What you’ll do
You will produce and support estimates across commercial solar PV and BESS projects, while also looking beyond the tender stage to understand how projects actually perform. That means reviewing completed jobs, analysing where margin has been won or lost, identifying cost leakages, and feeding those lessons back into future pricing.
You will work closely with contracts managers to track job costs against allowances, spot recurring variations or extra costs, and help strengthen estimating and commercial processes. This is a practical, commercially focused estimator role with real visibility across project delivery.

About you
You may already be working as an Electrical Estimator or in a junior estimating management role within electrical contracting, electrical construction, solar EPC or M&E with an electrical bias. Solar experience would be highly attractive, but it is not essential if you have strong electrical estimating experience and the ability to learn quickly.
You will understand how projects are priced and costed, be comfortable reviewing quotes, allowances and commercial performance, and have the confidence to work with operational teams. Strong Excel skills, sharp attention to detail and a practical mindset will all be important.
