Senior Quantity Surveyor/Commercial Manager – Data Centre – Remote
About the Role
We’re looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor/ Commercial Manager to join our growing team delivering cutting-edge data centre projects. This is an exciting opportunity to work on high value, mission critical infrastructure supporting some of the world’s leading technology clients.
You’ll play a key role in managing the commercial and contractual aspects of fast paced, technically complex builds where MEP packages and critical systems are at the forefront.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Managing project costs from inception through to final account
- Preparing and reviewing cost plans, budgets, and forecasts
- Leading procurement and tendering for major work packages
- Administering contracts (NEC / JCT / FIDIC) and managing variations
- Producing accurate commercial reports and cash flow forecasts
- Working closely with project managers, engineers, and clients
- Supporting value engineering and cost optimisation initiatives
- Managing subcontractor accounts and payments
About You
- Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or related discipline
- Experience in data centres, MEP-heavy, or large-scale construction projects
- Strong knowledge of contract management and commercial processes
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-value project environment

Desirable
- Experience with Tier-rated data centres or mission-critical environments
- Professional accreditation (e.g., MRICS)
- Familiarity with BIM and digital construction tools
