How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    The Role

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established client in the insurance sector who are looking for a Customer Support Desk Administrator to join their team on a long term contract basis.

This is a junior role and the vision here is genuinely exciting. The right person will come in, learn the business, the software, and the industry from the ground up and over time take full ownership of the support desk function. The goal is for this person to eventually head it up entirely.

If you are someone who is ambitious, eager to learn and wants to build something rather than just maintain it, this could be a really great opportunity.

    What You Will Be Doing

Taking ownership of the day to day running of the support desk, learning the systems and processes, identifying ways to make things more efficient and building your knowledge of the insurance sector and the software the business uses. Over time you will grow into the person who leads the entire customer support operation.

    What they Are Looking For

Excellent customer service and communication skills are a must. Beyond that we are looking for someone who is ready to roll their sleeves up, learn quickly and take real ownership of what they do. Some previous experience in a customer support or helpdesk environment would be great and any knowledge of Freshdesk or the insurance sector would be a real bonus.
