About the Role
We’re looking for a proactive and detail-driven Commercial Coordinator to join our client’s Commercial team.
This is a key customer- and supplier-facing role where you’ll act as the vital link between customers, suppliers, and internal production teams, ensuring orders run smoothly, delivery performance stays on track, and customer expectations are consistently met or exceeded.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Act as the key point of contact for customers, handling queries and incoming communications
- Maintain accurate customer and supplier data, ensuring ERP/MRP systems are kept fully up to date
- Work closely with Production Control and Operations to align order books with production plans
- Monitor delivery performance and proactively identify and resolve potential risks or delays
- Raise and manage purchase orders
- Maintain supplier order books
- Liaise with suppliers and internal teams

Essential Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in a commercial, purchasing, supply chain or coordination role
- Confident handling multiple priorities in a busy environment
- Experienced with negotiating
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and maintaining accurate records
Desirable
- Experience within aerospace, manufacturing, or engineering environments
- Knowledge of engineering drawings/specifications
- Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems
- HNC/HND or business-related qualification
