How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    FX Options Trader – Emerging Markets


    Location: London

    Division: Global Markets – FX Trading

    Firm: Leading Investment Bank


    Overview

    A leading global investment bank is seeking a high-performing FX Options Trader with a specialist focus on Emerging Markets (EM). This role sits within a well-established FX trading desk and offers the opportunity to take ownership of risk, drive P&L, and contribute to the continued growth of the franchise across key EM currencies.


    The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong track record of consistent P&L generation, deep expertise in EM FX options, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, risk-taking environment.


    Key Responsibilities

    • Manage and grow an EM FX Options trading book, with full accountability for risk and P&L
    • Price, structure, and execute vanilla and exotic FX options across a range of emerging market currencies
    • Develop and implement trading strategies leveraging macro insights, volatility dynamics, and flow opportunities
    • Actively manage risk exposures including delta, vega, gamma, and cross-asset correlations
    • Partner closely with sales teams to deliver solutions to institutional clients, including hedge funds, asset managers, and corporates
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and internal stakeholders
    • Contribute to the enhancement of pricing models, trading tools, and infrastructure
    • Stay ahead of global macroeconomic developments, particularly those impacting EM markets


    Requirements

    • Proven experience as an FX Options Trader, with a focus on Emerging Markets
    • Demonstrated strong and consistent P&L generation over multiple years
    • Deep understanding of FX options pricing, volatility surfaces, and risk management
    • Strong knowledge of EM macro drivers, liquidity dynamics, and market structure
    • Experience trading a range of EM currencies (e.g., LATAM, CEEMEA, APAC)
    • Excellent quantitative and analytical skills
    • Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, front-office environment
    • Strong communication skills and commercial mindset


    Preferred Qualifications

    • Advanced degree in Finance, Mathematics, Engineering, or related discipline
    • Proficiency in programming (e.g., Python) and experience working with trading systems
    • Experience with exotic options structuring
