We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established main contractor who are looking to appoint an experienced Estimator to join their commercial team based in Woodford.
About the Role
This is a full-time, office-based position. You will be responsible for producing accurate and competitive cost estimates across a range of construction projects. Working closely with internal commercial and operational teams, you will play a key role in supporting tenders and helping secure future work for the business.
Responsibilities:
- Preparation of detailed cost estimates and tender submissions
- Analysis of drawings, specifications and project requirements
- Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain quotations
- Supporting the commercial team throughout the tender process
- Ensuring deadlines and accuracy standards are consistently met
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Estimator
Required Skills:
- Strong understanding of construction methods and commercial processes
- Ability to manage multiple tenders simultaneously
- Excellent attention to detail and strong numerical skills
- Confident communicator with a professional approach
