Learning Support Assistant (SEN) – Stoke-on-Trent

Milk Education is currently recruiting caring and dedicated Learning Support Assistants to support a range of SEN schools and specialist provisions across Stoke-on-Trent.
This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of children and young people with additional needs, including autism, SEMH, and moderate learning difficulties. You will play a key role in helping pupils thrive in supportive, inclusive, and nurturing environments.
The Role:
• Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs (SEN)
• Support communication, social interaction, and emotional regulation throughout the school day
• Work closely with teachers to adapt lessons and meet individual learning needs and EHCP targets
• Promote positive behaviour strategies, structure, and routine
• Encourage independence, confidence, and personal development
About You:
• Experience supporting children or young people with SEN (school-based or transferable)
• A patient, resilient, and caring approach
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• A proactive attitude and genuine passion for supporting pupils with additional needs
