A publicly listed real estate platform with a significant UK portfolio is seeking a Head of Investments to join its London-based leadership team.
The business manages a significant UK portfolio and is entering its next phase of strategic and operational evolution. This is a rare opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping investment strategy, capital allocation and portfolio performance within a lean, highly collaborative environment.
This role offers direct exposure to senior leadership and the opportunity to drive investment activity across a diverse set of opportunities, working within a dynamic, cross-functional team.
The Opportunity
Reporting directly to the CEO, you will lead all investment activity across the platform — from strategy formulation through to execution — with full accountability for capital deployment, portfolio construction and transaction delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the investment strategy aligned with overall corporate objectives
- Lead capital allocation, portfolio construction and recycling decisions
- Originate and execute acquisitions, disposals and structured transactions across the UK
- Act as deal lead across the full lifecycle: underwriting, due diligence, structuring and closing
- Partner closely with Asset Management to align asset-level strategies with investment cases
- Oversee portfolio performance, risk exposure and value creation initiatives
- Lead investment input on development and value-add opportunities
- Engage with Board, Ic and external stakeholders
- Contribute to capital markets activity, investor relations and ESG integration
Candidate Profile
- 10-15 years proven track record in UK real estate investment, with experience leading complex transactions
- Strong financial modelling, underwriting and structuring expertise
- Deep understanding of UK institutional real estate markets
- Experience operating at Board and Investment Committee level
- Strategic mindset with strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
- Prior experience working closely with senior leadership and investors
