A leading private credit platform is seeking an Associate to join its London investment team. This is a high-impact role offering exposure to the full lifecycle of mid-market direct lending transactions across Europe, with early responsibility and direct involvement in investment decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse new investment opportunities, including business models, financials, and credit risk
- Build and review financial models (including downside and sensitivity cases)
- Support deal execution, including due diligence, structuring, and documentation
- Prepare investment materials and contribute to Investment Committee discussions
- Monitor portfolio companies, including performance tracking and covenant analysis
- Engage with sponsors, management teams, and advisors throughout the deal process
Candidate Profile
- 2-5 years of experience in leveraged finance, M&A, or private credit
- Strong technical skills across financial modelling and credit analysis
- Experience working on sponsor-backed or debt transactions
- Commercial mindset with a focus on risk and return
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to operate in a fast-paced environment
