The opportunity
The Employment team is highly regarded for its expertise in advising employers and senior executives across the full employment lifecycle.
The firm is now seeking a junior Employment Associate to join the team as part of its continued growth. This is an excellent opportunity for a recently qualified lawyer to develop their career within a collaborative and well-established practice.
Working closely with partners and senior lawyers, the new hire will gain exposure to a broad mix of advisory and contentious employment work, particularly for professional and financial services clients.
This will include:
- Advising on both contentious and non-contentious employment law matters
- Supporting on grievance, disciplinary, investigation and dismissal matters
- Advising on collective employment issues such as TUPE, outsourcing, redundancies and restructurings
- Assisting with employment tribunal and civil court litigation
- Advising on HR processes, employment contracts, service agreements and workplace policies
Required
- UK qualified Solicitor with 0 - 2 years’ PQE
- Employment law experience gained at a recognised law firm
- Experience or interest in both advisory and contentious employment work
- Interest in working with clients in sectors such as media, entertainment, sport, technology or digital platforms
