Fundamental L/S Equity PM (Sector focused) – London / NYC
A rapidly growing and well funded European Hedge Fund is looking to build-out their Equity franchise with a number of PM hires for their London OR NYC office. The firm currently has a number of offices in APAC, Europe and in NYC – with London and NYC being growth points.
Ideal candidates will have a demonstrable track record of 3+ years within a Hedge Fund focused on sector specific equity investing, with more capital constrained / niche strategies preferred (100-300m book size).
The group have a very mature approach to risk management, will PM’s given the autonomy at the same time as being given excellent support internally in terms of infrastructure and execution. Additionally, the pay-out structure is entirely formulaic and above market average.
Role Requirements:
- Successful track record running a L/S Eq book at a hedge fund / Asset Manager / Trading House
- Sector specialist (Smid Cap / Niche sector focus / Capital constrained)
- Extensive experience in fundamental equity research
- Robust risk management process
- Strong decision making ability
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficiency with Bloomberg, FactSet, and similar financial data providers
