Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Paint Sprayer role based in Holton Heath, Poole, Dorset. The Paint Sprayer will be responsible for performing surface preparation, applying spray coatings, and ensuring high-quality finishes across various materials. Key responsibilities will include maintaining and operating spraying equipment, adhering to safety and quality standards, working on large-scale and detailed projects, and supporting the maintenance of workspace cleanliness and organization.
Qualifications
- Proficiency with spray painting tools and techniques for a variety of surfaces
- Experience in surface preparation, including sanding, masking, and cleaning materials prior to coating
- Knowledge of paint application procedures, quality assurance, and compliance with safety standards
- Familiarity with coatings used in industries such as Marine, Aerospace, or Construction (preferred)
- Ability to read and interpret technical specifications and project requirements (advantage)
- Critical thinking and strong attention to detail with the ability to ensure high-quality results
- Prior training or certifications in spray painting, coating applications, or health and safety standards (e.g., COSHH)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with an ability to collaborate effectively with team members
