Collide Technical is working with a well-established precision engineering company in Poole is currently seeking a Semi-Skilled CNC Miller to join their growing team.
This is a great opportunity for someone with machining experience looking to further develop their skills within a structured and quality-driven environment.
The Role
Working within a busy machine shop, you will be responsible for setting and operating CNC milling machines using FANUC , producing high-quality prismatic components to customer specifications.
Key Responsibilities
* Setting and operating CNC milling machines (FANUC Oi-MF control system)
* Producing components in line with engineering drawings and specifications
* Tool setting and making offset adjustments
* Inspecting your own work in line with drawing and SPC requirements
* Maintaining a clean, organised work area in line with 5S standards
* Ensuring consistent quality and adherence to production targets
What We’re Looking For
* Previous experience in CNC milling (setting and/or operating)
* Familiarity with FANUC controls is highly desirable
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
* Experience using inspection equipment
* A reliable, detail-focused approach
* Willingness to learn and develop
