Collide Technical are working with a well-established precision engineering company based in Ferndown, who is looking to recruit an experienced CNC Turner Programmer to join their growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled machinist who values flexibility, autonomy, and a supportive working environment.
The Role
You will be responsible for Programming setting and operating CNC lathes to produce high-quality precision components, working from engineering drawings with minimal supervision, working on Fanuc Lathes.
Key Responsibilities
* Programming, Setting and operating CNC turning machines
* Producing components to tight tolerances
* Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
* Carrying out in-process inspection using standard measuring equipment
* Managing your own workload and ensuring production deadlines are met
* Maintaining a high standard of quality and housekeeping
What We’re Looking For
* Proven experience as a CNC Turner
* Strong understanding of machining principles and tolerances
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
* Experience within a precision engineering environment
* A proactive and reliable approach to work
