How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Whether you’re a strong administrator or someone with experience in regulatory references, FCA Directory updates or similar regulated‑process tasks, you’ll quickly become a key support for our Policy Team.

Your role will help keep our systems, adviser records and policy framework up-to-date and regulator-ready. You’ll be the kind of person who notices the details others might miss, enjoys bringing clarity to complexity and takes satisfaction in knowing that your work contributes to excellent customer outcomes across MAB.

Look after our Compliance and Regulatory inboxes, ensuring queries are managed promptly and professionally.

Maintain our RiskSmart system, helping ensure policies are version‑controlled, organised and aligned to governance standards.

Support the creation of Management Information (MI) and help gather data for regulatory reporting.

Provide reliable, thoughtful administrative support across wider Compliance activities.

Identify and escalate gaps or issues that could affect compliance, accuracy or customer outcomes.

Ensure records and documentation always meet our high, regulator‑ready standards.

You enjoy being organised, structured and accountable for your work.

You communicate clearly in writing and feel confident summarising information.

You are comfortable using a range of systems, project and task management tools and workflows.
