With well-equipped labs and modern offices in Cambridge, this prestigious technology development company solves cross-disciplinary problems spanning a wide range of applications, from telecoms and defence through to consumer technology and healthcare devices, so you could be working on robot swarm control for smart warehousing, satellite communications systems, or IoT devices, for example - anywhere where RF technology is used.
In this varied role, you would have ample opportunities for continued learning whilst working on interesting technical challenges as a part of a high-achieving and collaborative team. You will work on all aspects of development across the project lifecycle, and eventually, as your experience grows, you will establish yourself as a technical authority within the company.
You will need:
* An outstanding academic background with a 1st or 2.1 in electronic engineering or similar from a leading university, together with good supporting pre-university grades.
* Excellent electronics and RF circuit design knowledge, including RF LNAs, RF Power Amplifiers, and switched-mode power supplies.
* Previous commercial experience of successfully taking complex RF technology from concept to completion, and hands-on skills with common RF lab equipment.
* Confident communication skills - able to discuss issues in-depth with clients and colleagues and explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
* Full existing UK work permission, and the ability to obtain a UK security clearance.
This role features a highly competitive salary and benefits package; the company values employee development and provide in-house training and opportunities for you to expand your skills portfolio or take on management responsibilities.
