How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Employee Relations Lead

    London (Hybrid) | £55,000–£60,000 Bonus


    We are partnering with a high-growth world class brand with over 300 locations across the UK to recruit an Employee Relations Lead.


    This is a pivotal role at a moment of significant change for the organisation. With upcoming employment legislation changes and continued expansion, the business is looking for an ER specialist who can strengthen employee relations practices while helping shape policy and processes at scale.


    This role offers a rare opportunity to combine hands-on ER case management with strategic project work, influencing how employee relations is managed across a large and growing workforce.


    The Role

    Reporting initially to the Head of People, you will lead employee relations activity across the organisation’s nationwide locations, working closely with the People Partnering team and operational leaders.

    You will manage a complex ER caseload while also driving improvements to policy, process and capability across the business.

    A key priority for this role will be leading the implementation of upcoming changes related to the Employee Rights Bill, ensuring the organisation remains compliant while embedding practical, scalable people practices.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Manage a varied ER caseload including absence, disciplinary, grievance and investigation matters
    • Conduct investigations and support complex case resolution across the business
    • Provide expert ER guidance to People Partners and operational leaders
    • Lead updates to policies in response to upcoming employment legislation
    • Develop and embed consistent ER processes across all locations
    • Track ER trends and case data to identify risks and preventative actions
    • Deliver training and guidance to managers on ER best practice


    About You

    • Strong knowledge of UK employment law and employee relations processes
    • Experience managing complex ER cases in a multi-site organisation
    • Excellent investigation, documentation and organisational skills
    • Confidence advising and challenging stakeholders constructively
    • The ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities
    • Interest in policy development and organisational change


    Experience within branded retail or hospitality is essential.
