Delivery Driver

About the Delivery Driver role:

In this varied role you’ll find yourself starting the day at our branch in West Thurrock, loading the company van with various deliveries as well as preparing the delivery notes to go with them. You’ll then use your local knowledge to complete several timely and accurate deliveries to various customers in the areas surrounding the M25 (London, Essex, Kent and Surrey to name just a few).  You’ll play a key part in keeping things moving smoothly while enjoying the independence and variety that comes with being out on the road.

We’re looking for someone with a good mix of previous driving experience as well as excellent communication and customer service skills. A full UK driving licence is needed for this role as our vans are manual.

Working Hours: 40 hours per week, 08:00 – 17:00 with 1 hour for lunch. There is some flexibility with these hours.

What we're looking for in our Delivery Driver:

Full UK driving licence (our Hayley Dexis branded delivery vans are manual)

Previous experience in a delivery driver role

A good knowledge of the local, geographical area

A keen eye for health & safety awareness

Ability to be flexible and adaptable

Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges in a dynamic industry.

Excellent communication skills
