How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    This Senior Technical Administrator to IFA Senior Adviser job offers a rare opportunity for an experienced career administrator to step into a trusted, senior support role working directly with a highly established Independent Financial Adviser with high net worth clients.

    This position sits at the heart of a professional financial planning business and combines senior level technical IFA administration with dedicated one to one support to a Senior Adviser who is also part of the senior leadership team. The focus is on quality, accuracy and discretion making it ideal for someone who genuinely enjoys the administrative and technical side of financial planning.

    You will be responsible for managing the Adviser’s day to day administrative workload, ensuring client work is processed accurately and efficiently, and acting as a key point of contact for providers, clients and internal teams. The role includes a strong technical element, supporting client reviews, valuations, cashflow inputs and suitability documentation, alongside diary and communication management.

    This is a highly trusted role suited to someone confident operating at senior level, comfortable handling sensitive information and able to manage competing priorities in a busy, office based environment.

    Senior IFA Administrator Requirements

    • Essential previous experience within an IFA practice in a technical or senior administrative role
    • Essential minimum of 2 years Financial Services experience
    • Essential experience with valuations, fund switches, cashflow modelling inputs and suitability documentation
    • Desirable experience submitting new business, pensions, investments or protection
    • Desirable experience using IFA back office systems such as Curo
