TeacherActive is currently recruiting Qualified Teachers (QTS) to work in a range of specialist SEND settings across Doncaster. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain varied experience while making a meaningful impact on pupils with needs such as ASD, MLD, SLD, and ADHD.
About the Role
As a SEND Teacher, you will:
Plan and deliver engaging, tailored lessons on a 1:1 and small group basis
Adapt your teaching to meet the individual needs of each pupil
Support the academic, emotional, and social development of students
Create a safe, inclusive, and structured learning environment
Work collaboratively with support staff and other professionals
This role offers excellent flexibility, variety, and the chance to build valuable experience across different specialist settings.
What We’re Looking For
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience working within Special Educational Needs (SEND)
A calm, patient, and caring approach
Strong behaviour management skills
A solid understanding of safeguarding and child protection
Experience supporting pupils on a 1:1 and small group basis
