We are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Estimator to join a well-established organisation specialising in electronic security systems. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a wide range of commercial and university projects, with long-term contract stability and the potential to move into a permanent role.
Key Responsibilities
Produce accurate and competitive cost estimates and tenders for security system installations
Work across systems including:
Access Control
CCTV
Intruder Alarms
Nurse Call Systems
Review technical drawings, specifications, and tender documentation
Liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to gather project requirements
Obtain and evaluate supplier/subcontractor quotations
Identify risks, value engineering opportunities, and cost efficiencies
Support bid submissions and ensure deadlines are met
Requirements
Proven experience as an Estimator or Senior Estimator within Security Systems
Strong knowledge of access control, CCTV, and intruder systems
Experience pricing commercial, healthcare, or education sector projects
Ability to interpret drawings and technical specifications
Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail
Excellent communication and organizational skills

£350 per day (outside IR35)
Weekly pay (every Friday) via Payroll company or Ltd Company
Hybrid working – mix of home and Birmingham office
