How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Gillespie Recruitment are delighted to be supporting our client, a leader in innovative technology within renewable energy, during a period of growth. We are looking to recruit an experienced Marketing Coordinator, to join the marketing team. If you have experience within SaaS, or technology, or in the office shore wind industry then we would like to talk to you!


    Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager you will support the planning and delivery of marketing campaigns across multiple channels. This role requires someone comfortable working across digital campaigns, events, and creative content, while collaborating with colleagues across the business to transform complex technical information into clear, engaging, and benefit-led marketing.


    We are looking for candidates with 3+ years marketing experience within a B2B background who can demonstrate the following -


    • Proven experience supporting multi-channel marketing campaigns
    • Strong content creation and copywriting skills
    • Proven ability to translate technical information into clear, benefit-driven marketing messaging
    • Proven experience with email marketing and CRM platforms
    • Proven experience managing B2B social media channels
    • Proven ability to create graphics and marketing materials
    • Proven experience updating websites
    • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple projects
    • Proven experience creating video content
    • Proven ability to project manage and coordinate attendance at industry events
    • Proven experience working with HubSpot, Canva, and WordPress

    Qualifications


    • Formal educational qualifications and/or CPD in fields related to B2B marketing, HubSpot, Canva, or WordPress
    • Formal educational qualifications and/or CPD in fields related to the activities of the business (eg software development, AI, offshore wind, marine operations, and wider net-zero transition technologies such as wave and tidal energy, onshore wind, electric vehicles, or solar PV, etc.)


    Candidates MUST have the right to work in the UK and be based in the Northeast of England. We cannot except applications outside of the UK or from those requiring sponsorship.
