Salary: Up to £38,000 per annum
Location: South Wales (Hybrid working)

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) Practitioner to join our team in South Wales. This is a hybrid role, combining home-based working with regular travel to services to provide direct support, assessment, and staff coaching.
You will play a central role in improving quality of life for individuals by embedding evidence-based PBS approaches and supporting teams to deliver person-centred, least-restrictive support.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete functional behavioural assessments and develop high-quality PBS plans
- Provide specialist PBS input to individuals with complex needs
- Support services to reduce restrictive practices and promote positive outcomes
- Train, coach, and mentor staff teams in PBS frameworks and values
- Work collaboratively with families, commissioners, and multidisciplinary professionals
- Monitor outcomes, review interventions, and ensure best practice
- Maintain accurate records and professional documentation
Essential Requirements
- Recognised qualification in Positive Behaviour Support (e.g. Degree, postgraduate qualification, or accredited PBS/behavioural qualification)
- Demonstrable experience working as a PBS Practitioner
- Strong understanding of PBS, functional assessment, and behaviour support planning
- Full UK driving licence and access to a car
- Willingness to travel across South Wales
- Excellent communication, organisational, and coaching skills
