How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Housekeeping Supervisor
Location: Training Ground - Seagrave, Leicestershire
    Contract: Permanent
    Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Behind every great performance is a team that makes it possible

At Leicester City Football Club, what happens off the pitch really matters. Every day, teams across the Club work together to create an environment that reflects pride, professionalism, and care.

Housekeeping is a key part of that team. At our world‑class Training Ground, it’s about supporting one another, taking pride in high standards, and knowing that the work you do helps everything run smoothly. From early starts to the quieter moments behind the scenes, this role is about teamwork, trust, and shared responsibility.

We’re looking for a Housekeeping Supervisor who enjoys being part of a close‑knit team, leads by example, and believes that doing the small things well — together — makes a big difference.

    About the role

As Housekeeping Supervisor, you’ll play an important role in overseeing day‑to‑day housekeeping operations while remaining actively involved on the floor. You’ll help plan, organise, and supervise cleaning operations across the Training Ground, ensuring excellent standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and customer care at all times.

This is a varied role where no two days are the same, and where teamwork and attention to detail really matter.

    What you’ll be doing

    * Supervising and supporting the Housekeeping team to deliver consistently high standards

    * Carrying out housekeeping duties yourself and leading by example

    * Promoting a safe, welcoming environment in line with Health & Safety legislation

    * Working closely with the Head of Training Ground Facilities to review and improve service standards

    * Coordinating with other departments to ensure housekeeping activities run smoothly alongside theirs

    * Managing rotas to ensure appropriate cover across the Training Ground

    * Making sure the team has the right tools, equipment, and resources to do their job well

    * Ensuring equipment and machinery are cleaned, maintained, and stored correctly

    * Monitoring stock levels and placing orders for supplies and linen

    * Supporting the training, development, and performance of team members

    * Completing daily site walks, identifying any issues and ensuring they’re resolved

    * Liaising with external cleaning contractors and ensuring standards, confidentiality, and site procedures are followed

    * Helping to foster a positive, accountable, and supportive team culture

    * Supporting with any other duties as required by the Head of Training Ground Facilities

    What we’re looking for

You’ll already have experience working in housekeeping, and ideally in a supervisory or senior role. Most importantly, you’ll care about quality, teamwork, and taking pride in your environment.

    You’ll bring:

    * Previous experience in a similar housekeeping supervisory role

    * Excellent cleaning skills and a strong eye for detail

    * The ability to juggle tasks in a busy, fast‑paced environment

    * Strong organisation and time‑management skills

    * A calm, professional, and approachable manner

    * Confidence communicating with and guiding others

    * A genuine team‑player mindset with the ability to lead by example

    * Experience of completing housekeeping audits

    * Flexibility and adaptability when situations change

    * A proactive, reliable, and trustworthy approach

    Role requirements

    * A full, clean driving licence and access to your own vehicle

    * Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, matchdays, and public holidays as required

If you’re proud of your work, value teamwork, and want to play a part in something bigger every day, we’d love to hear from you.
