Salary: £28,000-£32,000We are seeking a responsible Quality Inspector to ensure the quality of sub contracted work. The ideal candidate will be a advocate of quality within the business, possessing a keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellence.
This role is crucial in ensuring that the company's products are made from flawless materials and well-functioning equipment, ultimately providing our customers with high-quality merchandise and contributing to our long-term success.
Day-to-day of the role:
Interpret technical specifications and CAD drawings to understand the quality expectations for products and supplies.
Develop and implement quality control methods to ensure all materials meet set standards, guidelines, and compliance for company use.
Utilise SAGE software to record all inspection reports and quality issues; training on this software will be provided.
Approve or reject raw materials, and liaise with suppliers to ensure replacements or repairs meet our requirements.
Maintain accurate inspection records and input inspection procedures into SAGE software.Required Skills & Qualifications:
Proven experience in inspecting products
In-depth knowledge and comprehension of quality standards, in engineering with a manufacturing or assembly background.
A full clean driving licence for local travel to and from warehouses is advantageous
